Africa and Family (Southern Africa)

We visited Mara who is in the Peace Corps in Zambia. We drove from the capital Lusaka all the way up to Lake Tanganyika and then took a boat to a beautiful lodge on the side of the lake.  From our lodge i could look at Tanzania and the Congo. Here's mom, Mara and I on the boat on the way to the lodge.

This was the beach in front of our bungalow on the lake shore with palm trees!

Mara and I really enjoyed the beach and swimming in the lake.

Mara and I giving dad a cuddle on the beach.

We also had a lot of fun in the water and kayaking.

I also made friends with the kids who lived near the resort.

Next we visited the city of Kasama and then we drove to Chanda Mukulu which was the village where Mara was working in Northern Province.  Here we are walking to Mara's house with her suitcases.

This was her house

It doesn't look like much on the outside but was nice and cozy inside.

This was her bathroom which daddy tried out.

Hello and Goodbye America!

We had a good time visiting America.  It was sad to leave my friends, family and dog Bomvu behind, but this is the best way to keep them closer. These are my close friends in America and Asia, I still need to add my friends from Africa. Oh let me not forget baby Rainn and LilyAhn - awwww cute!

Seoul, South Korea

South Korea is cold! I did not think there was much to see in Seoul.  From the airport we took a high speed train to our hotel it's the fastest and fanciest train i've been to so far.  Mom and shopping... she took me to Namdaemun market and Itaewan for shopping.  Because it was too cold we decided to stay at our hotel, next time we are in Seoul we will visit the Palace, Bukchon Village, and the War Memorial.

Mui Ne

My mom and I are getting ready to travel to America and my dad to our house in Kenya. My mom decided we take a last minute trip to Mui Ne - she decided we take a train- as always my dad and I agreed. I was not very sure about the train but it turned out the 5 hour ride was smooth.

Mui Ne is a wind and kite surfers paradise. I was told i am still a kid and could not try either one I decided the best thing was to lie down in a hammock and watch the surfers.

The seafood and goat BBQ in Mui Ne is very tasty! My mom and dad said it's the best seafood and goat meat the've ever had. And YES crocodile meat.
