My First Rock Climbing in Krabi

We went rock climbing in Krabi where we climbed for 4 hours.  Krabi is one of the best rock climbing places in the world.  The rocks are all limestone at the top of the summit you get to see the ocean - it is beautiful.  It was scary but fun my legs were shaking but our guide pushed us to go higher.  I came home with a few scratches but I am proud of myself for reaching the summit.  Towards the end i was on level 6a and climbed as high as 50 feet - i want to keep climbing but next i want to try deep water soloing which is when you dive off the cliff into the water.

Hello South of Thailand

We flew to South of Thailand after spending time in Bangkok.  My dad's friend Shlomo and his family let us use their house in Reilei Beach.  We met with them in Bangkok they were flying to Sweden then to New York where they live. Shlomo told my mom and I a story of how he discovered Reilei Beach when there was not a single house nor anyone heard of Reilei Beach. Reilei is not far from the Malaysian border and other islands. There are no roads to and in Reilei the only way to get around is by taking boats. His house was the first and this house and the peninsula surrounded by high cliffs is beautiful!

Thai Kickboxing at Rajadamnern Stadium

I do not like fighting sports but i really enjoyed Thai Kickboxing. This is something i've never seen before but it was interesting.  At first i did not like the idea of watching people fighting but my parents said it's a friendly fight.  They were right! My mom and I were going crazy, screaming, shouting and jumping.  The stadium was packed, it was a crazy night.  Before the fight local Thai music is played by a group of man, locals scream to cheer their favorites and the fighters pray in the boxing ring before the fight in the end the boxers are very friendly towards each other they shake hands and give each other hugs.  Here is the video i took-

Elephant Ride, Floating Market and Snake Show

The following day my mom and I decided to go for an Elephant Ride, a Floating Market then the Snake Show.  My dad did not join us because he had to do some work.  We woke up early in the morning and drove for more than 1 hour away from Bangkok.  First we stopped at the elephant park where we had an elephant ride.  I've always wanted to take an elephant ride but once i was on a ride i realized i did not like it much, it is not a gentle ride but was impressed at how the elephants are treated.  After the elephant park we took a fast boat to Damnoen Floating Market once we arrived at the the floating market we took a slow boat.  This market is very busy and they sell everything from clothes, fruis, meat, street food.  The last part of our day was driving to watch the snake show -interesting but  CREEPY.
Talking about CREEPY, i did something i never thought i would ever do - i had to face my fear thanks to slimy pet snake Python FOFO (my mom and I named him) .

 Goodbye snake show...

Bangkok, Thailand

We flew into Bangkok where we are staying for a few days before going to Reilei Beach in Krabi. We met with my dad's friends and then took a long tailed boat to see the temples and some old parts of Bangkok. After the boat my dad took us to get a fish pedicure PLUS he got himself some Gangnam Style and i decided to try on Thai traditional clothes.  Daddy!!!

Happy 2013!

We got to spend New Years Eve with our friends Simon and Lindsay from Australia and we really had fun! We attended a Dinner Gala where I got to wear my new dress and shoes.  The best part -it was my first time being at a Disco; my mom, dad, Simon, Lindsay and I danced until early in the morning  and it was FUN but the sad part the next day i was too tired.  The streets in Saigon were full of people.  There were acrobatic shows, dancers, fireworks all over the city as well as music everywhere.  It was a big show! I will put more pictures later
